We accept students with a wide range of clowning experience and, sometimes, no previous clowning experience at all. Dance, theater, music and circus skills are pluses.
Tuition for the 2009/2010 school year is $8500.00
Generous work-for-tuition grants and some cash scholarships are available.

The Class of 2009 will take "Ukeleles and Unicycles" on a community tour from May 17 - June 4, 2009 and then perform in "Pratfalls and Rising Stars" at Circus Center June 12 - 14 (see below). We will have two public performances of "Ukeleles and Unicycles":
* May 17 in Union Square, S.F. at 2pm FREE
* June 14 at Circus Center at 1pm (see below)

* June 12 to 14 "Pratfalls and Rising Stars", Class of 2009 clowns with the professional aerial students.
* June 18 to 21 "Showcase", S.F. Circus acrobats, studio students and Advanced Program clowns.
All weekends Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 7pm and Sundays at 1pm and 4pm
Note: The Sunday, June 14 show at 1pm will be the Class of 2009 Community Touring show "Ukeles and Unicycles".
The Showcase has an additional performance on Thursday, June 18 at 7pm.

The new Advanced Program Performance Track is performing a circus adaptation of Alice, entitled "Wonderland", weekends through May 3 at the Julia Morgan Theater in Berkeley and then at the Front Door Theater in San Ramon through May 17 as part of the Active Arts Theatre's season - http://www.activeartstheatre.org.
